About the Founder
Gajanan Saraf is the founder of Gajanan Yoga. Inspired by his Spiritual Leader, Swami Niranjananand Saraswati, Gajanan decided to dedicate his life to improving the physical and mental health of people through Yoga teachings. After completing his Post Graduation and being recognized as an outstanding teacher in Yoga, Gajanan decided to go abroad and gain experience from renowned Yoga gurus.
Soon after, Gajanan decided to open the “Shri Gajanan Yoga” in his own country, India. He has been a dedicated and passionate practitioner of yoga for the last 16 years. He has completed many courses in yoga such as Yoga Naturopathy, Reiki, Acupressure, Yogic Studies Course, Diploma in Yoga Shikshak, RYS 200, Mysore Asthanga, Keralian Massage. He also participated in the State and National Yoga championship and secured the medals.
Due to his outstanding teaching skills, he is followed across the Yoga community. He is the master of Power Yoga, Asthanga Yoga, Hath Yoga, Meditation, Siddhikriya. He is also conferred with the Sanyasa Diksha from Swami Niranjananand Saraswati, Bihar Yoga Bharti Munger. He got the title of “Sanyasi Gandev” from his Guru. Profile
With 18 years of experience in Ayurveda, Dr. Neha Pawar is a physician in Ayurveda and a Yoga Consultant based in Pune. She has accomplished BAMS from the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science, Bangalore. She has treated more than 300 patients with exceptional outcomes and results.
Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhan Samsthan University (SVYASA), Bangalore, recognized as a leading yoga institute worldwide, awarded her a Doctorate of Medicine (MD) degree in Yoga and rehabilitation in 2012. With this, she has also undertaken a yoga instructor trainers course and conducts personal yoga sessions.
She studied clinical medicine, Panchbhoutik Chikitsa, Panchakarma therapy, and the methods of preparing Ayurvedic medication under the supervision of Dr. Vivek Haldavnekar after acquiring her BAMS.
ON HIS JOURNEY SO FAR..
Only after teaching yoga I started to understand what yoga truly is. This is because it is in the context of teaching that we are forced to examine our understanding of yoga critically, and to witness to what extent we embody and communicate this understanding.
